Semillas Native Plant Arts Fest: December 13, 2025

​​

A community native plant celebration will take place at The Nectar Bar in San Antonio to showcase the beauty and importance of native plants!  A portion of the proceeds from vendor fees will be donated to the 2026 PlantArte native plant art contest.

 

Among the Semillas Native Plant Arts Fest handmade offerings:

  • Botanical art, fine art prints, small original paintings, postcards.

  • 
Unique wood carvings, spoons, bud vases and small sculptures made from salvaged Texas native woods.

  • 
Ollas, garden bells, ceramic coasters, handmade recycled paper with native flowers.

  • Hand embroidered, appliqué native plant art, textile wall charms, seed ornaments.

  • Native plants, native plant products and more!

Native American Seed, Texas Bean Freak, and the San Antonio Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas as partners that will share information about:

 

  • Native plant gardening

  • Water conservation 

  • Invasive species awareness

  • Water smart gardening

  • Food security through drought-tolerant gardening
