Semillas Native Plant Arts Fest: December 13, 2025

A community native plant celebration will take place at The Nectar Bar in San Antonio to showcase the beauty and importance of native plants! A portion of the proceeds from vendor fees will be donated to the 2026 PlantArte native plant art contest, and a vendor discount is available for PlantArte native plant art exhibit artists.

What we are looking for:

Handmade and handcrafted native plant art
 Photos and prints of native plants
 Unique handcrafted native plant jewelry

Texas Native Plant Week (Every full third week in October)

The Texas Native Plant Week social media campaign is a user-generated campaign that offers participants a unique opportunity to share with, and learn from others across Texas about the importance native plants in each of our ecoregions.

The 2025 Texas Native Plant Week Social Media Campaign Toolkit is being updated with more resources, and the DropBox folder (with free theme-specific graphics) will again be made available.

It is never too early to plan your posts, and share photos or native plant art during #texasnativeplantweek!
